Hydrema Roll out the New DT22

Danish manufacturer Hydrema have revealed their new next generation 20-tonne class articulated dump truck and very stylish it looks too!

Designed and manufactured to replace the popular Hydrema 922G model the DT22 has a 20-tonne payload capacity and is powered by an EU Stage V emissions compliant Cummins B6.7 diesel engine which offers a power output rating of 314hp combined with 1288Nm of torque.

A ZF ERGOPOWER 6WG-210 automatic transmission puts the grunt into the traction with 100% lock up in all gears, and as regular Hydrema fans will know, these Danish built machines offer class-leading stability with their low-profile look, and legendary ultra-low ground pressure with their 800mm wide flotation tyres.

The new ROPS/FOPS operator’s cab has apparently been completely redesigned to offer an improved and spacious operator experience and a new 10” tablet style touchscreen monitor offering advanced diagnostics and vital machine information for the operator.

We understand that this new model will hopefully be presented at Hillhead 2026 later in the year, and I’m looking forward to taking a look around the machine, and meeting the new UK team to reconnect with the brand.
