Hyundai CE Appoint a Footballing Brand Ambassador
It’s been a massive week for football fans, especially if you are an England follower as the team progresses further in the UEFA European Football Championship, and with that historic win against Germany, a massive step closer to “bringing it home” as they say.
While keeping up to speed with things football related online yesterday, I came across the fact that Hyundai Construction Equipment, have recently appointed a footballer as a new brand ambassador, in the form of Dutch defender Dave Bulthuis.

Bulthuis (31) formerly played for FC Ultrecht in the Eredivisie, the Dutch Premier division, which was followed by a move to German Bundesliga club FC Nurnberg in 2014. In 2017 he signed a three-year contract with Gabala in the Azerbaijan Premier league. Most recently though in 2019 he signed for South Korean club Ulsan Hyundai, which as the name suggests is heavily sponsored by Hyundai in what is the spiritual home of the manufacturer.

The player has now been signed up to represent the company and has recently appeared in a video which sees him take to the controls of a Hyundai HX520 excavator, or at least stepping out of one with Hyundai overalls on! The footage then pans to him striding out onto the football pitch for Ulsan.
