I’m going to the Doe Show are you?

The 55th annual Doe Show opens its doors to the public on Tuesday 3rd February and continues on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th 2015 at Ernest Doe in Ulting, Maldon Essex. The show is the largest construction, agricultural and groundcare dealer show in the UK.

Incredibly I will be attending this hugely successful show for my very first time on the Wednesday and I look forward to meeting any of my readers who might also be attending on that day in the Doe hospitality tent. In addition to attending the show on Wednesday, I will be visiting Doe customers in the Essex and Sussex areas on the Thursday and Friday. I think it’s safe to say that Ernest Doe have been one of the longest established dealers for the Hyundai construction equipment range in the UK, in fact they have been selling the Korean machines for over 20 years and have certainly helped to put the machines on the map in the wide area they cover as a dealership. The product range has evolved tremendously over the years and the current Dash 9A series is proving to be especially popular with owners and operators alike. Visitors to the Doe Show can expect to see a wide range of machines from the Doe portfolio which includes Bomag, New Holland, Manitou and Thwaites, but Hyundai will be dominating the show with a total of 12 machines on display – including new models from the Dash-9A series. Machines on show will range in operating weights from 1.6 tonnes up to 22 tonnes. There will also be a demo plot, once the stomping ground of that Hyundai legend Doug Potter, who will also be attending on the Wednesday, where a range of Hyundai machines will be put through their paces by experienced operators. Look out for the R16-9 mini excavator, R25Z-9A zero swing excavator, R27Z-9 mini and the R35Z-9 mini.  Also on display will be the R60CR-9 short tail swing mini, the R80CR-9 with short tail swing and with the addition of a tilting cabin. Larger machines on display include the R140LC-9A, the R145LCR-9A and the R180W-9A wheeled excavator and its crawler excavator equivalent.  The R220LC-9A is also making an appearance as is the HL770-9a wheeled loader. In addition to the Hyundai stand, there will be over 150 trade stands at the Doe Show featuring new products as well as used equipment bargains, shop soiled and ex-demo machinery, and a large indoor display area devoted to ancillary products.  Over 10,000 visitors are expected and entrance and parking is free!
