Janne Leppänen Selects SANY
Well known and respected Finnish owner operator Janne Leppänen has recently upgraded his machine and has taken the decision to purchase a SANY SY155U short tail swing model.
Janne who hails from the town of Nokia, some 9 miles west of Tampere in Finland, has been an entrepreneur for more than 25 years and has gained an enviable reputation as a highly skilled operator, in addition to his excavation and groundworks activities, Janne also produces attachments such as rakes, grading beams and brushes.

Janne has also won the Finnish operator Championship 7 times, and also competed in the Caterpillar Operator Challenge event in Malaga, which he has won twice, and in addition came 2nd and 3rd on two other occasions.
As if that was not enough, Janne also competed in the CASE rodeo operator challenge twice, winning on both occasions, after which they told him he would not be allowed to take part again, as they wanted to give someone else a chance!

Janne recently traded in his previous machine which was an (ECM) Eurocomach model in striking blue livery. In what many will see as a surprise move Janne has opted to invest in a Chinese built SANY, which has been supplied by Finnish dealers Machinery Oy.

In true Nordic style the machine has been “pimped up” not only with a striking colour scheme and decals, but with light bars, GPS machine control and SMP tiltrotator.
Janne reports that he is delighted with the SANY machine in every aspect, a fitting testimony for any brand from such an experienced operator.
The Digger Man Blog would like to thank Janne for sharing his photos with us.
