JCB Cab gets a rise for Special Application

Unfortunately, I am not at liberty to tell you much detail about this machine and where it is going to work. There seems an awful lot of secrecy surrounding jobs in Australia these days which is a real shame as it’s a great place for heavy equipment and for those of us who have a keen interest in it.

All I can say is that the machine in question is a JCB JS130LC that has been specially converted with a high-rise cab, which has been manufactured by DJM Fabrications in Warragul, Victoria. The cab has been assembled to tilt using an electric/hydraulic system to allow for maintenance and to lower the height for transportation purposes.

The machine has been supplied with an Intermercato rotating grab which it will use in its job role.

The raised cab design enables the operator to have great visibility into whatever he is loading.
