JCB Go Big on Compacts at the Executive Hire Show

Hot on the heels of its latest new product launch event, just a couple of days before, JCB chose the Executive Hire Show to reveal its latest compact offerings to the public.

JCB Go Big on Compacts at the Executive Hire Show

JCB was situated in its regular spot at the EHS and the stand was busy on every occasion I passed by, with visitors keen to get a look at the Staffordshire based manufacturers latest machines.

Among those machines was the all-new 3TE Swivel Skip 3-tonne electric site dumper, powered by two powerful motors with a combined power output of 38.4kW this machine is well suited to working indoors or in noise sensitive urban environments.

The new 2.5-tonne 26C-1 conventional tailswing mini excavator was also attracting a lot of attention, the machine is the long-awaited replacement for the company’s hugely popular 8026 CTS model. Significant orders for this machine and its zero tailswing counterpart the 25Z-1 have already been received, so expect to be seeing these on sites across the UK and Europe very soon.

Also showcased was one of two new tandem vibratory rollers revealed for the first time in public, the CT380-130, competes in the 3.8-tonne roller market and looks to be a fine piece of equipment.

You can read more about these machines and other equipment showcased at the EHS in a future edition of Earthmovers Magazine, but in the meantime, check out the video from the show produced by JCB.
