JCB’s Be Your Own Boss event inspires more owner/operators again.

JCB recently held its second Be Your Own Boss event at the Staffordshire based company’s World Headquarters in Rocester.

JCB, which started out as a one-man business nearly 70 years ago, has played host to another keen gathering of potential entrepreneurs at its latest event encouraging them to start their own digger driving firms. The company once again welcomed scores of people from all over the UK to the World HQ at Rocester, Staffordshire, for the second ‘Be Your Own Boss’ seminar, designed to inspire delegates to become backhoe loader owner operators.

Matt Mawby was one of those who attended the first event in 2014 and was on hand this year to talk about his experiences since taking the plunge as an owner operator following his attendance at the inaugural Be Your Own Boss seminar. Matt has been operating plant for over 10 years and like many of us who have had a hankering to own his own digger, he finally took the plunge after the last event held at JCB. This video gives us a bit more background on Matt and his new business which appears to be going from strength to strength.
