John Deere Set to be a Conexpo Hot Spot for Digger Man Blog

One of the most hugely anticipated stand visits at Conexpo-Con/AGG 2023 for me personally, will be a tour around the massive John Deere and Wirtgen booth, which will be their largest presence ever at the triennial machinery fest in Las Vegas!

This will be the first time that both company’s have shared the same space together at Conexpo-Con/Agg and will cover an area of some 80,000 square feet.

The largest area will be the 70,000 square feet booth outside in the Sliver Lot where we expect to see the vast majority of the 68 machines that will be collectively displayed by the two brands. A further 10,000 square feet of exhibit space will be found indoors in the West Hall, much of which will focus on the future technologies that John Deere are bringing in to the construction space.

In a press release Deere said that the John Deere and the Wirtgen Group presence offers customers an “engaging experience and an all-encompassing snapshot of the future of construction through industry-leading equipment and technology.”

Although rarely seen in the UK construction sector since the late 1970’s John Deere construction equipment is a big deal in the US and rightly so for such an iconic brand.

Talk on the street is that Deere construction equipment is going to be back in the UK and Europe very soon, and we are already seeing some units appearing, like the 672GP motor grader that was recently sold in Scotland as featured as the cover story in the December 2022 edition of Earthmovers Magazine, so exciting times ahead!

Visitors can expect to see 36 World premieres of brand-new equipment collectively from both brands at the show, covering construction, road building and compact construction units, not forgetting the all-new electric excavator that we featured on the blog recently and that will be one of my highlights for sure!
