Komatsu Launch new MR models into Europe

Having been delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic situation, Komatsu have finally launched its new range of mini excavators into the European market.

The new four model range consists of the PC18MR-5, PC22MR-5, PC26MR-5 and the range topping PC58MR-5. These new machines which are built in Komatsu’s Italian facility, were due to be revealed at the Samoter trade show in Italy in March this year, but obviously due to the world events, that did not take place.

The MR-5 range, which are supplied with Komatsu’s Komtrax monitoring system as standard, replaces the outgoing MR-3 models and are fitted with the latest Stage V emissions compliant engines.

The PC58MR-5 which tips the scales at 5640kgs, really caught my eye, it’s a stylish looking, compact piece of kit, with a host of new features and factory-fit options that can be added like proportional control joysticks, and dedicated hydraulic quick coupler pipework.
