Kubota's in big demand

Kubota dealer Major Owen, based in Penryndeudraeth, North Wales, is experiencing an increase in demand for Kubota excavators from existing and new customers.  One of the new customers, a leading building supplies and plant hire specialist, Thorncliffe, turned to Major Owen when customers started directly asking for Kubota.

The new order placed by Thorncliffe totaled 12 machines from Kubota’s growing range of mini excavators.  These included a number from the market leading KX range as well as the U27-4 zero tail-swing mini excavator, which has proved popular since its launch earlier this year due to its precision control and advanced features that enable it to deliver superior performance and efficiency. Lee Healy, plant hire manager, Thorncliffe Building Supplies, comments “Thorncliffe services the local building trade from its two depots in North Wales, and is known for providing a competitive, friendly and reliable service.  Therefore, when a number of our customers starting requesting Kubota machinery we thought it would be a good time to review our plant hire fleet as we are always keen to meet our customers requests. After reviewing the different brands available to us, and following discussions with Major Owen, we decided to make the move to Kubota and invest in 12 new machines. “Since we received the Kubota’s they’ve been pretty much fully booked with repeat bookings from satisfied customers. Feedback has been very positive with the majority of users commenting on the ease of use the Kubota machines provide.  They have also mentioned how comfortable the cabs are, an important factor when you spend all day operating them.” The Kubota range of mini excavators are universally known and respected for their reliability and durability.  Designed and built to produce cost effective results time after time, the range appeals to a variety of industries including plant hire, civil engineering, utilities, landscaping, house building and grounds maintenance. Malcolm Barnett, construction sales manager, Major Owen, comments “Major Owen has been working with Kubota for 30 years now and it is rewarding to work with a company that receives such positive feedback. People like the reliability Kubota offers and because of this it has become a trusted brand within the industry.  We welcome new business from companies such as Thorncliffe and are pleased to be able to supply them with high quality Kubota machines.” Check out this excellent walk-around video on the U27-4 from the team at Kubota UK.
