Link-Belt’s ‘Pink-Belt’ Returns

The Pink excavator on the Link-Belt stand at ConExpo-Con/Agg has long been a popular attraction for visitors, not only does it stand out from the crowd at the show, but it’s also doing a fantastic job raising money for very worthy causes including the National Breast Cancer Foundation and CHI Saint Joseph Health.

Link-Belt’s ‘Pink-Belt’ Returns

This year a Pink Link-Belt 15.2 tonne 145 X4 will be on the stand, on what will be its final stop of its “Diggin for a Cure Tour” which started in Memphis at Heavy Machines Inc, followed by 11 further stops across the US prior to reaching the ConExpo venue at the Festival Grounds, where it will take up its spot, on booth F9241.

Fitting in nicely with the Las Vegas theme, the pink machine is generally set up with some giant sponge dice in the bucket, and visitors can take the opportunity to use the machine to throw the said dice from a height, it’s a lot of fun and raises even more money for the charities involved.

Followers of Erin Johnson, the wife of Brendon Johnson aka @elite_earthworks_llc on Instagram, may recall her exploits on the PinkBelt during the last ConExpo-Con/Agg 3 years ago where she was lucky enough to throw two 7’s, “Pink is definitely my lucky colour!” said Erin. Maybe luck will be on her side again this year!

A live charity auction will take place for the machine with 100% of the proceeds going to the aforementioned charities. The auction will take place Thursday, March 16 at 2pm PST at #F9241 with bidding starting at $75,000.
