Living Legend Reunited with Hyundai

A couple of weeks ago, I was very kindly invited along to a film shoot in Suffolk, with our friend Kurt Mills aka Lord Muck on You Tube, who had come up with a brilliant idea of getting Hyundai demonstration legend Doug Potter back in the seat.

The idea came about after Kurt had bumped into Doug (80) at the Doe Show in early February, of course it was at this local show where Doug first started demonstrating machines in his own memorable way, and that later led to him performing direct for Hyundai at shows such as SED, and Bauma as well as a whole host of other overseas events.

Kurt had lined up a 1998 Hyundai R210LC-3 the like of which were a regular mount for Doug back in the demo days, and a brand new HX140AL so he could compare the two machines and to see how far they have come on in terms of comfort, power, speed and capability.

It was a fantastic and memorable day, which I intend to cover in more detail in my article in a forthcoming edition of Earthmovers Magazine, but you won’t have to wait that long for a flavour of the day, as Kurt has published this awesome video below on his Lord Muck You Tube channel, enjoy!
