Mansen Mörinät Beckons

The wonderful country of Finland is calling me once more, as I head off in preparation of the forthcoming Mansen Mörinät event which takes place again in the Pirkanmaa area of Tampere, often referred to as the “Manchester of Finland” due to its industrial heritage, and possibly sporting prowess.

Mansen Mörinät Beckons

Mansen Mörinät is an event like no other, held on the dealer’s premises, and typically Finnish, it makes perfect sense, rather than having to move loads of equipment to a dedicated showground, at vast expense, and even having to pay for the privilege to be there. Visitors just come to the dealer facilities who put on food and entertainment which makes for a great day out.

This year’s Mansen Mörinät will be the 20th time it’s been held, with the first one taking place back in 2002, when 11 open-minded dealers first joined forces to organise the event. During the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021 they were understandably unable to hold the event due to the restrictions on social gatherings, so expectation is high for this year’s open house.

This time around there are more than 50 organising companies behind the event and hosting at their premises. In addition, the number of partners who will also be displaying their products at the dealers has grown too, with more than 200 industry players expected to showcase their products and services at Mörinät.

Mansen Mörinät takes place over two days, Friday 14th and Saturday 15th April, with the Saturday having a real family feel to it. I will be in attendance for both days with my friends at Konepörssi who are the main media partners, and I hope to be sharing highlights on my Digger Man Blog social media channels over the two days.

You can find more information about the event on the website at mansenmorinat.fi.
