Merry Christmas from the Digger Man Blog 2021

Well, its that time of year once more, when we put the machines to bed for a couple of weeks, put the computers and laptops into hibernation and get ready to relax with good friends, great food and probably a few too many bevvies, as we celebrate Christmas and the New Year.

Merry Christmas from the Digger Man Blog 2021

It’s been yet another challenging year for all of us one way or another with the seemingly never ending Covid-19 scenario continuing to dominate our daily lives and our freedoms to travel.

Having said that, the construction sector continues to be booming with many plant and machinery dealers I speak to saying they cannot get hold of machines fast enough to meet the demands from customers, this can only be a good sign for 2022, as hopefully manufacturers, especially those manufacturing the components required to make the machines, catch up after the lockdown closures.

For the Digger Man Blog and myself personally with other exciting projects I’ve been involved in, it’s been a hectic year, and I expect it to be the same if not busier for next year, with the mouth-watering prospect of the return of live shows such as Hillhead and the delayed Bauma Trade Fair in Munich taking place again, if the virus situation improves, we can only hope and pray that is the case at least!

In traditional style this blog is taking its usual Christmas break from this evening, returning on Tuesday January 4th, bright eyed and bushy tailed ready for another 12 months ahead.

However, we will still be around and posting material on our various social media platforms if you are fed up of turkey, mince pies and beer, so you can hop over to our Digger Man Blog Facebook group, on Instagram, and on Twitter and get your fill of heavy equipment and some festive fun elements too!

All that’s left for me to do now, is to wish each and every one of you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and thanks again for the continued support for the Digger Man Blog over the past year!

All the Very Best

Nick
