Merry Christmas from the Digger Man Blog 2022

And so, we reach that time of year again, time to shut down those engines, and head off for a couple of weeks well deserved break, with good friends and our loved ones, as we celebrate Christmas and the New Year.

Merry Christmas from the Digger Man Blog 2022

It’s been a funny old year, and yet another challenging one having all come through the Covid-19 situation which still lingers around, then to be faced with the crazy Russian trying to drag us all into a World War with his despicable invasion of Ukraine, which has had a serious impact on all of us.

Having said that, 2022 was still a great year for myself and this blog, a year that has found me working with a number of big brands alongside my work with Earthmovers Magazine, and in addition, working in collaboration with my friends and industry colleagues Peter Haddock of Content with Media and Mark and Freddie Anthony of Diggers and Dozers, and there will be plenty more of that in 2023 with a number of big plans lined up already.

There is a lot to look forward to in the New Year, with numerous shows taking place including the Executive Hire Show in February, Mansen Mörinät in Finland in April, Conexpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas in March, and our very own Plantworx taking place in June to name a few.

In line with the vast majority of construction sites, this blog is taking its usual Christmas break from this evening, returning on Tuesday January 3rd, ready for another 12 months ahead.

However, we will still be around and posting material on our various social media platforms if you are fed up of turkey, mince pies and beer, so you can hop over to our Digger Man Blog Facebook group, on Instagram, and on Twitter and get your fill of heavy equipment and some festive fun elements too!

Here’s a little round up video compilation featuring some of the things we have been up to over the past 12 months!

All that’s left for me to do now, is to wish each and every one of you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and thanks again for the continued support for the Digger Man Blog over the past year!

All the Very Best

Nick
