New Hyundai HX 260 on demo in Holland

The new Hyundai HX range of excavators were first launched earlier this year at Intermat in Paris, building on the success of the Dash-9A models these new machines are now starting to appear on sites across Europe as seen in this video footage from our friend and colleague Geert-Yke Rusticus.

This new 26 tonne class Hyundai HX260L has been doing the rounds as a demonstration machine for Dutch dealer Van der Spek Vianen. Featuring the new powerful but economical Tier 4 final engine the machine also features a whole host of improvements including more glass for improved visibility, 3 working cameras for improved safety. It’s hard to know how they have done this, as let’s face it the Dash-9A cabs were superb, but the HX cab has also been improved further to take operator comfort to another level. I am looking forward to getting hands on with some of these new models in the not too distant future either for the blog or for Earthmovers Magazine. The Digger Man Blog would like to thank Geert-Yke Rusticus for the use of his video footage.
