New Look and New Models for AUSA at Bauma

Our friends at Spanish compact equipment manufacturers AUSA were back in Bauma launching brand new electric machines and all new branding.

New Look and New Models for AUSA at Bauma

AUSA say that the show exceeded even their wildest expectations, and every time we went by there stand it was busy with customers and potential customers checking out the latest developments from the company.

They displayed no less than thirteen compact machines comprising of telehandlers and site dumpers, most notably, like many others at the show AUSA were revealing new electric powered models, consisting of the D151AEG dumper, and the T164E compact telehandler.

At previous Bauma’s AUSA has been keen to promote its larger reversible view dumpers, a model we have been keen to get “hands on” with for some time, but this year that concept seemed to have taken a back seat in favour of the drive for electric powered machines.

We caught up with our contact on the AUSA stand, Manuel Urbaneja who is the Regional Sales Manager for Northern Europe, who showed us around the new models.

The D151AEG dumper is AUSA's first electric dumper with a 1,500 kg payload. A dumper with compact dimensions that is ideal for working in small spaces where good manoeuvrability is a must.

While the T164E is the first electric telescopic handler with a 1,600 kg payload on the market. With its all-terrain capabilities and a maximum lifting height of 4 metres, it is ideal for working in emission-free spaces such as greenhouses, enclosed spaces and even working at night, due to its minimal noise emissions.

Commenting on the machine’s Manuel said, “Both of these models have been designed with an operating range of at least one full working day. The li-ion battery pack is managed electronically to offer maximum power in a smooth way and all-terrain conditions that match diesel vehicles. Also, when the accelerator is released, the electric motor reduces the speed instantaneously while the energy is regenerated, extending its range”.

All the machines on stand featured AUSA’s new look and branding, which features clever use of black markings to enhance the angular lines of the equipment, I think you would agree it looks very smart!
