New plant trailer looks set to become a game changer

We don’t very often get excited about plant trailers here on the Digger Man Blog, but every now and again something special catches our eye, like the new AutoLock from  Indespension.

The AutoLock Systems patent pending innovation is a new design to assist all users in the plant hire industry. Putting together the two words ‘Automatic’ and ‘Locking’ this system does exactly what it says on the tin. This trailer comes with the following safety and time saving features: Automatic securing system at the front and back which means the customer doesn't have to worry about strapping up the trailer themselves. The design means that there will be automatic control of the hitch and axle loading meaning that your excavator will be securely balanced during journey time. Once the machine is secure in the AutoLock there is an engagement of the dozer blade and an additional over centre catch clamp which can prevent lateral movement during transit. There is a new unique vertical breaker storage which allows for easy loading of the breaker while still in the machine rather than having to manually lift it yourself. Indespension have also introduced a new ‘JockeyLock’ securing system to prevent the jockey wheel from dropping during transit (patent pending). As well as a whole new locking system, Indespension have also improved the design of the overall trailer. Due to customer requests the trailer utilises Knott brakes with ‘sealed for life’ bearings, the drawbar is now 100 x 50RSC and has increased ground clearance to avoid sleeping policemen and corner braces to provide increased strength. New features around the mudguards including rain flaps to prevent spray and also a handy step to provide access and assistance. The rear pivot bar on the tailgate has been extended through the corner posts to give an increased strength when loading and unloading. The coupling can be set in 3 separate height positions – an advantage when hitching onto various vehicles. The Trailer now includes all new LED dual voltage lights as well as a concealed & waterproof wiring loom & lights to IP67 Take a look at this promotional video from Indespension and see the benefits this new ECWVTA European Type Approved trailer offers.
