New Venture Powers Up
When family-based business Kent Demolition Company Ltd were looking for new machines for use on their numerous demolition projects, but were unable to source any in a suitable time frame, they decided to become a dealer and supply their own kit.
It was January 2022 when Kent Demolition Company Ltd’s Dave Padgett formed a spin off stand-alone dealership business Kent Machines, which is based in a dedicated yard in Wrotham, in Sevenoaks.

As an appointed dealer for the JMAC range of machines, the new firm will be offering a range of mini excavators and compact telehandlers which will be available to buy, hire or long-term lease.

The machines on offer include:
• 0.5 tonne mini excavators
• 1 tonne mini excavators
• 2.5 tonne mini excavators
• 2.8 tonne mini excavators
• 2.5 tonne mini telehandlers
According to Managing Director Dave the machines are extremely competitive on price and they are offering a 20% trade back after 3 years or 3000 hours, whichever comes first.
