Not your everyday dozer

Well we don’t see many of these so called John Deere High speed dozers in the UK so I figured this would be a great little video to share here on the Digger Man Blog.

According to John Deere this one of a kind machine can finish grade and doze at twice the speed of a conventional tracked type tractor. The JD 764 HSD features articulated-frame steering and a purpose built four track independent oscillating undercarriage for high speed travel (up to 16 mph) and manoeuvrability. In addition the long life rubber tracks enable this machine to operate on all kind of surfaces with minimal damage. This is yet another piece of kit that looks like it might have just come out of a Thunderbirds TV show and I think you will agree it looks pretty impressive in the video below.
