Ollie Gunns Guide to Ebay Scammers

Ebay scams relating to used plant and machinery are an ever-increasing threat to genuine honest buyers, many of whom have fallen victim to these unscrupulous individuals, who are often hiding behind fake profiles, and don't even actually have any machinery to sell in the first place!

Our friend and my fellow Hampshire man Ollie Gunns has produced another one of his great videos where, in this instance, he offers his tips on how to avoid the scammers!

We have all heard about these scammers online and I’m sure many have been duped into handing over large sums of money for kit that quite simply doesn’t exist. Its not something I have ever got involved with to be honest, and I tend to avoid Ebay like the plague, but I can see how easy it could be for these characters to rip people off.

My general rule of thumb with anything, is that if it sounds to good to be true, it generally will be, so avoid at all costs!

In the video Ollie offers his own advice on the things to look out for and what to avoid, all presented in his own very eloquent style, which always makes for great viewing, and in this instance offers some very good tips on how to avoid a financial hit!
