Peter Haddock takes an Electric Journey with Doosan at Bauma
My friend and industry colleague Peter Haddock was smashing out video interviews at a phenomenal rate during Bauma and its only right that I should share some of these with the Digger Man Blog audience.
In the first instance Peter got up close and personal with Doosan’s all new 2-tonne electric mini excavator the DX20E and learnt more about the machine from Doosan’s excellent Product Specialist Stephane Dieu.

But he didn’t stop there, the ever inquisitive and hyper-enthusiastic Peter, then moved on to find out about the prototype 014, a concept 14-tonne class wheeled excavator with off-set boom which is also electric powered.

Peter then headed indoors to the innovation centre where he witnessed one of the demo operators running the DX225LC-7 on the demo plot remotely.
His visit was rounded off by Doosan’s vision of the future with its Concept X autonomous machine’s which were displayed in model form, but we know that the development work on the real machines continues behind the scenes.
