ProOperator Time Lapse

We are definitely living in the age of the social media celebrity digger driver, we have covered many of them in the past on this blog and its great to see how things are expanding for them, with many making good money from product endorsements and personal appearances, so much so that many of them are now being managed by PR companies.

The big guns in this game in the UK are Conor Kelly aka Conor the Digger Driver, Amy Underwood aka The Digger Girl and Lloyd Peckham aka Bearded Excavation UK all of whom produce some absolutely amazing content.  

I’m always on the lookout for new blood coming into the social media scene, and over the weekend I came across a video from a guy who featured in one of my articles that appeared in the March 2022 edition of Earthmovers Magazine.

Artur “Archie” Szykula, (39) who originally hails from the village of Strachowslaw in the South East of Poland, and has been operating diggers for some 8 years, but has been working for Fred Champion Groundworks for just short of two years now.

Archie has created a You Tube channel called ProOperator, which was actually first set up in 2018. He has now added his first video which is a time lapse project and depicts his work in creating a new site compound using a Hitachi Zaxis 250-7 that he operates for Champion. More videos have been added in the past two days. 

The compound which is 30 x 30 square was created by Archie himself using the Leica MC01 GPS system.
