Restored Poclain’s look set to star again at Intermat
Amongst all the modern kit on display during my last visit to Intermat in 2012, one of my favourite stands was the one from a movement called Fondation des anciens de Poclain, a group dedicated to the preservation of the classic French Poclain machines.
Well I am delighted to report that the Fondation (Foundation) in conjunction with another French Poclain enthusiast group, Generation Deux, will be returning to Intermat Paris in April 2015. The group will be displaying more of its members fine restorations of Poclain machines, for the benefit of those of us who remember them, and for the younger generations to see the machines that were at the cutting edge of hydraulic excavator technology back in the day.

For those who are attending the show, make sure you find time to visit the Fondation des anciens de Poclain stand, which will be situated in Hall 6 at the Paris- Nord Villepinte exhibition venue.
