Royal Cornwall Show Machinery Highlights (Part Two)
Next on my rounds was a visit to our friends on the MPS (South West) Ltd stand, where despite the weather they were incredibly busy, so busy in fact that I never got to talk to our mate Jason, who is the owner!
MPS (SOUTH WEST)
The company had examples from their sales portfolio which includes Hidromek, Holp GmbH and Gyru-Star to name a few.
No fancy wraps this year, but a more traditional black and white Hidromek HMK140LC was displayed, one of two Hidromek machines on the stand that have been sold to Helston based Luna Maintenance. This unit was also fitted with a new Holp Rototop attachment rotation system.

There was a lot of intense discussion going around the various Rototop units on display, and I do feel that many in the industry are now looking to these units as an economically viable option to a full blown tiltrotator set up.

The Hidromek HMK 102B backhoe loader was also presented and this machine too had been sold to Luna Maintenance and was displayed with a Gyru-Star screening bucket on the backhoe.

There was also a live demonstration going on with Holp customer TDV Contracting showcasing the versatility of the Holp with various attachments on his CASE CX26C mini excavator. There is no better way to show these attachments to the curious visitors so they can see what they are all about first hand.
Also on show were a vast range of grabs and forestry equipment which I wasn’t aware they were selling so its was good to see.
Let's take a walk around the stand.
