SaMoTer Success

SaMoTer Italy’s premiere construction equipment and machinery exhibition, took place last week and was hailed as a big success.

SaMoTer Success

The 31st SaMoTer took place following a 6-year absence of the long-established event, due to the global pandemic and the timings surrounding it.

Following hot on the heels of Bauma and ConExpo-Con/Agg, the event that took place in its spiritual home of The Verona Exhibition Centre, attracted over 40,000 visitors from 91 countries over the course of the 5-day show.

Visitors from Germany, Spain and France were most prominent, but the organisers reported good levels of attendance from Asia, Africa, North and South America.

536 exhibitors were present at the event with most of the big players taking stand space. This news is encouraging and shows that there is still a lot of enthusiasm for the big face-to-face construction machinery events, despite some changes in manufacturers marketing outlook on such shows.

I was not able to attend SaMoTer myself, as at the end of the day, there are only so many shows one can do, and with our very own Plantworx looming rapidly on the horizon, I had to drop out of this one, but it’s a show I would like to take in next time.

The Italian Super Car Video channel on You Tube visited the show, and we can take a tour around with them to checkout some of the highlights!
