A pair of Sany 20-tonne class excavators purchased by White Skip Hire 5 years ago have amassed in excess of 16,000 operational hours and are still going strong.

One thing we hear on social media all the time from commenters is that Chinese kit won’t last or that its throw away gear, however, that’s certainly not been the case for Neil Richardson the owner of Dagenham based White Skip Hire, who initially started out hiring the Sany SY215C’s before deciding to purchase them from the hire company as they proved to be so reliable.

The machines which are powered by a 164hp Cummins Stage 4 emissions compliant diesel engine are worked hard day in day out. As we have seen in the past waste transfer stations are incredibly harsh on machines, it’s a tough, hot and dusty environment but these machines have more than been up for the task often working double shifts.
