Scott’s Cat D11R QD in Action!

Everyday now I seem to come across a new construction machinery channel on the internet, and while Earthmoving Down Under is not that new, it’s a new find for me.

On Instagram especially just lately there appears to be an explosion of new videographers, all armed with their drones and enormous Ronin gimbals while strutting about like some kind of ninja on steroids!

In all seriousness, these guys are producing some incredible footage that even Steven Spielberg would be proud of. It was while researching these pieces of filming kit, that I stumbled upon the Earthmoving Downunder You Tube channel, where I was delighted to discover this awesome footage of our Australian friend Scott Lidster in action with his very own Cat D11R QD (Quarry Dozer).

Of course, we all know Scott for his hugely successful Australian Earth Training business, but some will not know that some two years ago he purchased this 2002 model D11R which he has available for hire.

I cannot imagine how much one of these giants would cost to buy, but what an amazing piece of equipment to be able to say you own, and to be able to make money with, these days, I can’t even afford to buy a new iPhone let alone any piece of heavy equipment!
