Scraper Chasing with Pushysix

We all love a scraper video and Canadian heavy machinery internet sensation Pushysix aka Scott Colclough agrees that the world needs more scraper videos.

During a recent visit to Gilliam and Sons in Bakersfield, California Pushysix got up close and personal with one of the company’s latest Caterpillar 627K twin engine motor scrapers, which had only just been delivered to site. The machine has an estimated value of one million dollars and is brimming with the latest scraper technology from Caterpillar, who continue to be the leading manufacturer of motor scrapers in the world.

In this first overview video we join Scott in the cab as he puts the new machine through its paces on the jobsite, joined by some of Gilliam and Sons existing Caterpillar 627H models in the push/pull operation. 

In this second video Scott offers a real insight into the major components of a modern motor scraper as he conducts a walkaround of the new K Series model. This video is around 25 minutes, so grab a brew, sit back and enjoy this insightful presentation.
