Shelley Gets the Hyundai Message out there for Porter Group

I was recently contacted by Shelley Grey who works for the Porter Group in New Zealand, this came about after we shared one of her walkaround videos of Hyundai’s HX220L on our Digger Man Blog Facebook group.

Shelley was delighted to report that following our sharing of the video they had seen a significant rise in views of the footage. I was keen to find out more about the face of the Porter Groups fantastic videos and her work within the business.  

It transpires that Shelley’s parents own an earthworks and forestry company and so she has grown up around a wide variety of heavy equipment during her life, Shelley quipped “With my parents running a machinery related business it was kind of inevitable that I was going to end up in this line of work”.

Shelley, who hails from Hamilton NZ, has been with the long established and hugely respected Porter Group for around 4 years. She performs multiple roles including, manning the reception, handling all the insurance for the significant sized hire fleet as well as other bits and pieces at the Porter Group HQ which is also located in Hamilton.

Shelley said that she had been approached about doing a bit of the video presentation featuring some of the products in the Porter Groups portfolio. She agreed to do some, and they have clearly become very popular, with great feedback from customers.  

Shelley has very kindly offered to share some photos and stories on Porter Group customers and their machines going forward, and in particular a very interesting forestry spec 32-tonne class Hyundai FX3230G model, but in the meantime checkout this latest video they have produced on the Hyundai HX145CR.
