Sunward in the Spotlight on TV Show

We all love a digger challenge on a TV show, and the latest manufacturer to get involved is Sunward!

Over the years on the Digger Man Blog, we have featured a whole host of TV stunts featuring diggers undertaking difficult tasks, largely taking place on the German gameshow Wetten Dass, which is the show that the English version You Bet is based on.

Of all the challenges on the show, the construction machinery themed ones always seem to be the most popular, and spectacular! I’m sure we can all remember the one where the Liebherr excavator climbed a tower structure that had been specifically constructed for the stunt.

The latest brand to enter the fray is Sunward, which sees one of their six-tonne class SWE60UF midi excavators balancing on a runner with one track in the air, as the operator attempts to put out a number of candles against the clock.

Unfortunately, the clip appears to be heavily edited so we don’t see the entire action from start to finish and we don’t see the countdown clock, but its still and entertaining watch either way.

Having been involved in the You Bet on Tour digger challenge last year, I know just how nail biting it can be for the competitors!
