Sunward to Showcase Compact Kit at the Executive Hire Show (EHS Show Highlights)

Sunward Europe are making a welcome return to the Executive Hire Show in Coventry in just under 3 weeks’ time.

Following on from a hugely successful appearance at the 2023 edition of the EHS, Sunward’s European team and UK dealers, will be back once more for the long-established EHS show, which takes place on 14^th & 15^th of February at its spiritual home of the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Sunward will be showcasing 4 machines from its extensive portfolio of products, focusing on the smaller machines aimed at the plant and tool hire industries, small building firms and landscaping contractors.

The 2.5-tonne SWE 25UF zero-tailswing mini excavator is said to be Sunwards best-selling machine in the UK market and an example will be presented on the stands B12 or C10. The machine is powered by a well-proven Yanmar, Stage V emissions compliant diesel engine, offering a power output rating of 14.6kW. Measuring in at 1500mm wide, the machine offers a maximum digging depth of 2840mm.

Joining the SWE 25UF will be its smaller brother the SWE 18UF. With an operating weight of 1880kgs this compact zero-tailswing offering features and expandable undercarriage. Starting at 900mm for easy entrance through gates and doorways, expanding out to 1320mm for stability when working. Power once again comes from a Stage V emissions compliant Yanmar diesel engine offering 13.4kW of power.

Also making an appearance will be the SWL 3230 skid steer loader, along with the SWE 25UF, this is another machine we tried out at the company’s HQ in Belgium last year, and both units impressed me with their smoothness of operation, power and performance. Power on this 3500kg skid steer comes from a Stage V emission compliant Kubota diesel engine offering a rated power output of 55.4kW. Rated operating capacity is 1100kgs, with a tipping load of 2200kgs.

Last but not least Sunward will be presenting the SWSL 0807DC electric powered scissor lift. This compact scissor lift is capable of a maximum working height of 8m and a lift capacity of 230kgs. Operating weight is 1545kgs and with a width of just 0.76m is suitable for working in confined quarters both indoors and outside.
