Takeuchi Time at Plantworx

Plantworx opens it doors to the public today at the East of England showground in Peterborough and it looks set to be the best one ever.

Without a doubt, one of my first ports of call will be to see my good friends on the Takeuchi stand, where a warm welcome is always assured amidst a sea of shiny red and grey machines on static display, and examples of the latest 3-Series models expected to be available to try out on the demo plot.

Also of interest, and fresh from its first public appearance at ConExpo in Las Vegas earlier this year, will be the fully electric Takeuchi TB20e which features electro-hydraulic controls

The TB20e is 100% battery powered with zero exhaust emissions at point of use. With a full charge the 24.7kWh, maintenance-free lithium-ion battery provides up to eight hours of operating time at 65% load. The TB20e features an on-board charger with two options – charge static or whilst operating. An additional off-board Fast charger is available, reducing charge time to two hours.

The TB20e will be starring in the popular #TakeuchiTime challenge competition hosted by our mate Dave Vickers @diggingwithdave2023 a long-standing Takeuchi customer and all-round good egg!

I could even be tempted to have a go myself, what could possibly go wrong! Lol
