Takeuchi UK turns 30

Takeuchi UK reaches a major milestone in 2026, as the manufacturer of the distinctive and much-loved red & grey machines celebrates 30-years of continuous in the United Kingdom, spanning from 1996 to 2026.

Takeuchi UK turns 30

Since Takeuchi began trading in the UK from its headquarters in Rochdale, Greater Manchester in 1996, the Takeuchi brand has become one of the nation’s favourites, amongst owner-operators, plant hire fleets and utility contractors especially. The brand has become synonymous for its quality, durability, reliability and for high performance construction machinery.

An essential component to this 30-year success has been Takeuchi UK’s long-standing dealer network, who have all helped to grow the Takeuchi customer base extensively, establishing the brand as the popular choice for excavators from 1-15-tonnes, hydraulic breakers, tracked dumpers, and the latest arrivals in the UK, compact track loaders.

Takeuchi remains a market leader in designing and developing new models for customers ever changing requirements.

Talking about this significant milestone, Daisuke “Yana” Yanagisawa, Managing Director at Takeuchi Mfg. UK Ltd said, “Celebrating 30 years reflects the dedication of our team, the loyalty of our customers, and the commitment of our dealer partners. We are proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to building on this success for many years to come.”

Looking ahead, Takeuchi UK remains focused on advancing new technologies, expanding its product range, and delivering exceptional service to customers throughout the region.

Takeuchi UK will be celebrating 30 years of red & grey in the UK and Ireland throughout the year and will be running campaigns and events to mark it. They invite us to follow @TakeuchiUK on social media platforms and to visit their stands at both Scotplant and Hillhead shows this coming year.
