Takeuchi’s get alternative strip
Four brand new Takeuchi mini excavators have been delivered to Steve Hoskin Construction one of the leading groundworks and civil engineering players in the South West.
We are all familiar with the famous Japanese brand in their original red and grey livery but SHC are equally famous in this neck of the woods for their distinctive blue and white livery, or in this case blue & grey.
This latest order of 3-tonne class, TB230’s are the latest Takeuchi examples to join the fleet in this colour scheme, which appears to be an ongoing trend for all future Takeuchi machines on the firm. The machines are all supplied and serviced by local dealership CBL Plant Sales out of their regional depot in Saltash, just over the Tamar Bridge in Cornwall.

CBL arranges for the paintwork to be done professionally to a very high standard, and have supplied a large number of these blue and grey machines to SHC now over the years.
We have photographed a number of these machines at work on sites during numerous visits over the past 5-6 years now, and they always make for a stunning display at the annual Royal Cornwall show too.

Whilst I’m a big fan of the red and grey, I think you would have to say, they look absolutely stunning in the SHC colours.
SHC continues to put faith in these world-renowned mini excavators, that are not only appreciated by owners for their reliability, but also much applauded by operators, for their smooth hydraulics, in cab comfort and ease of operation.
Thanks must go to CBL’s regional salesman Mark Crocker for organising this latest deal and delivery on time and for the delivery images used in this post.
Takeuchi is celebrating an impressive 30 years in the UK & Ireland this year.
