Takeuchi’s Latest 3-Series Machines join the Hillhead Party
Fans of the red & grey Takeuchi kit will be in for a real treat at this weeks Hillhead Show, which takes place at the famous Hillhead Quarry in Buxton, across three days 23rd-25th June.
The 15-tonne class Takeuchi TB3150R, which replaces the outgoing TB2150R, will be making its first official public appearance in the UK at Hillhead and is certain to attract a lot of attention on the stand.
Incredibly the outgoing TB2150R which is still a cracking piece of equipment, has been around since 2017, so it was due an upgrade and the TB3150R is the result. I recently had the opportunity to have a test drive of the new model on site with our good friend Dave Vickers of (Digging with Dave) fame, and I have to say it was an outstanding excavator in every way.

You will be able to read my full report on the TB3150R in the next edition of Earthmovers Magazine, so I’m not going to give it all away here on the blog, but I advise everyone to visit Takeuchi UK on stand M9 to check it out for yourselves.
Representatives from the friendly team at Takeuchi UK will be on hand to answer your questions about the new machines, and all other machines in the Takeuchi line up, so do pop along and enjoy some hospitality.

In addition, Takeuchi UK tell us that they will also have the sister machine the TB3150 with off-set boom on the stand and this will be the first time I have seen that version in the metal, so I’m excited for that.
I also hear rumours that we might find other examples around the show, so lookout for them as you tour the vast area of the Hillhead Quarry.

HOT TIP!
The weather forecast is predicting scorching temperatures next week, although, as I write this on a dull Saturday morning in West Devon, you wouldn’t think so! But make sure you go prepared with a water bottle, sunscreen and hat, we will see you there!
