Takeuchi’s new big boy set to impress
As you read this blog post today I will be at a location somewhere in the Midlands to get “hands on” with Japanese manufacturer Takeuchi’s new 15 tonne offering the TB2150 for Earthmovers Magazine.
We first caught sight of the replacement for the outgoing TB1140 at the Bauma Trade Fair in Munich last year. It’s probably fair to say that our Japanese cousins don’t rush themselves when designing new models but in my opinion it’s always worth the wait!

The stylish new machine certainly looks the business and I am excited at the prospect of getting in the seat of the new model today. I’m not going to say too much about the new model in this post as I will save my thoughts for the first drive report in the magazine, but in the meantime check out this walkaround video from Takeuchi’s American arm which offers a brief insight into the new machine.
Both as an owner and operator, I have always been a big fan of the Takeuchi product and as such I'm looking forward to seeing what this new model has to offer.
