Talking Cat Compact Wheel Loaders with Jas

Our great friend and industry colleague Peter Haddock recently visited Caterpillar Inc’s UK facility in Desford to checkout the all-new Next Generation of compact wheeled loaders.

Peter took the opportunity to catch up with well-known Caterpillar man Jas Kundra, who in my eyes is one of the most naturally gifted product specialists in front of the camera, who’s enthusiasm spills out by the bucketful (forgive the pun) ad into the mix the mega enthusiastic Peter Haddock and we have the recipe for a fantastic video interview.

Jas has recently returned from an assignment with Caterpillar in North America and is now back to his spiritual home at Desford, this time in the capacity of Compact Wheel Loader Commercial Manager which is great to see, so there was no better man to talk too!

The next-generation of Cat Compact Wheel Loaders includes the 906, 907, 980 & 980 high lift and there are many different features to be found in this new UK built range which are powered by the UK manufactured Cat C2.8 Stage V engine.

The Next Gen range is brimming with new features, so without further ado, lets join Peter and Jas to get the lowdown on the machines which are built right there in the Desford factory in Leicestershire, but destined for the global market!
