The Digger Girl Launches You Tube Channel

Amy Underwood aka The Digger Girl has had a meteoric rise to construction machinery social media superstardom in recent years with a strong presence on most of the usual platforms, she has now added her own You Tube channel into the mix.

As we have reported previously on this blog, Amy (28) hails from the west coast of Scotland and has been in and around plant and machinery for most of her life. She has been working for her father’s business, John Underwood Plant Hire Contractor Ltd since leaving school, but even before leaving school she could often be found operating a piece of equipment to help her dad out during the school holidays, or even on the odd occasion skip off school for a day or two.

But one would think, that even in her wildest dreams, she could never have imagined where her journey would lead her too today, from just having a social media account for fun, to signing a massive partnership deal with Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe, which is all credit to her and the way she conducts herself in public and online.

As a natural progression to her online work, Amy has just launched her “The Digger Girl” You Tube Channel, which already has amassed some 2.68k subscribers, with the very first video attracting 1.9k views in the first 18 hours since posting at time of writing this!

The first video is entitled Digger Girl Diaries – Week 1, which will form a series of weekly videos where Amy will show what she’s been up to, generally running one week behind so she has time to edit them.
