Tracked dumper hire specialists launched

P Flannery Plant Hire (Oval) Ltd and specialist plant hirer Land & Water Plant Ltd have teamed up to create a new Joint Venture business to focus on the rental of tracked dumpers.

National Tracked Dumper Hire (NTDH) has taken delivery of 9 of the first slewing tracked dumpers manufactured in the world since 2010. These machines will bring the fleet to 40 units with a total investment in 2015 of £4M. The senior teams of these businesses recognised an opportunity whereby the pooled resources and skills from both organisations could together offer a fresh approach to the rental of tracked dumpers in the UK. Both organisations saw the need for a modern, reliable hire fleet of tracked dumpers, a fleet that would perform to the extremely high standards that both companies already operate to. NTDH will offer the latest, safest and most environmentally considerate fleet of tracked dumpers available in the country. Having recognised the need for new slewing tracked dumpers, NTD’s senior team met with the UK’s dealer of Morooka Tracked dumpers (Cautrac) and with them visited Morooka in Japan to help influence them to introduce a brand new slewing model. During the visit, NTDH were confident enough to give an order for 9 units to be delivered in the first half of 2015 to help Morooka have the confidence to develop the product. Earlier this year at Intermat, the MST 2200 VDR was launched with a great deal of interest. According to a company spokesman said, NTDH aim to be more environmentally sensitive than its competitors – Offering the latest engines with the very lowest emissions and all machines being supplied with biodegradable hydraulic oil as standard. Have less impact on the environment and ground conditions than its competitors – by offering fully rotating or slew skip bodies across the fleet. Be more fuel efficient than its competitors – offering the very latest engines with the very best fuel economy (with significant fuel savings from older machines). Offer safer machines than its competitors - by exceeding both the manufacturers and current legislative conformity – By – Isolating the hydraulics with a “dead mans” isolating device By – Isolating the hydraulics with a lap belt that will not allow the machine to move without the operator having their seatbelt fastened – which can be seen externally by an illuminated green flashing beacon. By – fitting either 360 degree or reversing cameras and side mirrors where appropriate By – Offering fully rotating and slewing machines across the fleet to prevent the need for reversing and turning. Offer the very best depot network and product support available – with 6 National depots and over 20 service engineers with a genuine ability to support customers throughout the UK. Continue to be involved “hands on” in new product development with the best manufacturers to ensure the product is designed with the most demanding UK conditions in mind. To also help lead innovation, safety and to push for further environmental improvements. Ensure all equipment is sourced through The Manufacturers UK dealers only so it genuinely complies with European legislative conformity Increase production through Manufacturer approved “low density boards” for lighter materials in conjunction with sealed tailgates to increasing carrying capacity and productivity.
