Triple 3 Cat Rolled Out

American heavy equipment giant, Caterpillar has released a video featuring the new 333 Next Gen hydraulic excavator.

The new model which tips the scales at 32,500kgs (71,650lb) appears to slot in between the 330 conventional tail swing machine and the 335 reduced tail radius model.

Power on the conventional tailswing 333, comes from a Cat C7.1 diesel engine producing a power output of 194kw (260hp) @1800 rpm.

The machine offers a maximum digging depth of 7380 mm and a maximum reach at ground level of 10690 mm.

All the features that we have come to expect on the Cat Next Gen range of excavators are featured and Cat suggest that this machine offers up to 15% more digging force than previous models.

Features like Smart Mode and the fuel-efficient hydraulic system combine to keep overall running costs down to a minimum.  

At time of writing its unclear as to what market or global region this model is aimed at.
