Vickers Plant Services put a Lid on it

Our good friend Dave Vickers has certainly been under the spotlight in recent months, having won an operator challenge competition last year, he is now in high demand as an influencer helping to promote a career in plant operating as well as continuing to run his plant and contracting business in Stone, Staffordshire.

Dave was also willing to offer his Takeuchi TB217R mini excavator to be the recipient of an Australian made DiggerLid excavator cover, for him to try out and see the benefits of.

Both myself and my good friend and industry colleague Peter Haddock, travelled to a new site Dave and his team are working on right in the centre of Stone, to present him with the DiggerLid and to fit it onto the machine.

I was then able to evaluate the product myself, something that I will cover that in more detail in a future article in Earthmovers Magazine.
