Video Postcards from Maxpo 2022 Finland

Regular followers of the Digger Man Blog will be aware that I was recently back up in Finland for the return of the Maxpo show, a very welcome visit following the restrictions caused by the pandemic.

I will be reporting on the event in a future edition of Earthmovers Magazine, but in this blog post, I thought I would put together a collection of some of the videos I took during the course of the 3-day event that I attended with my friends and colleagues at Konepörssi magazine.

First up was a stop by the Finnish ALLU Group stand where we were given an exclusive demonstration of its latest Transformer screening buckets.

Another Finnish business demonstrating its latest products, was compact loader/tool carrier manufacturer AVANT who were demonstrating the new 650i model.

My Finnish friends over at Lannen also had a number of examples of their “Multi-Functional” articulated backhoe loader machines, in addition to a Lundberg shovel.

Finnish Doosan dealer Real Machinery had plenty of new kit to see on their stand, including my first sighting in the metal of the DX110W 10-tonne class rubber duck.

Liebherr Finland had an impressive stand at their usual location at the Hyvinkaa Airfield venue, and presented some fantastic looking machines ready to go out to regional customers straight from the event.

Finnish Takeuchi & Hidromek dealers Honka Trading Oy presented a wide range of the famous red and grey machines in addition to a couple of examples from Hidromek.

CASE Construction Equipment dealer Trackwest Oy/Rentti displayed a wide range of products, with the highlight for most visitors being the CX300E E-Series excavator.

Swedish brand Huddig were also displaying at the show, with a trio of their super impressive, high spec articulated backhoe loaders.

These videos represent just a selection of my favourite stands from the show, and I’m already looking forward to a return trip to Maxpo next year.
