Volvo & Steelwrist appear in Tiltrotator Stars Wedding

We do love a digger themed wedding here on the Digger Man Blog, and we have featured quite a few over the years. So, I’m delighted share some cracking images from the wedding of tiltrotator media star Steve Williamson and his new bride Kirsty Williamson.

In case you have been living under a rock for the past few years, Steve Williamson who lives in the Muir of Ord in the highlands of Scotland, is a full-time operator of a Steelwrist and GPS equipped Volvo Construction Equipment excavator for Scottish contractor WM Donald Ltd.

Steve is also the creator of the Tiltrotator Operators Media group on Facebook, and he has also become a demo operator with Kinshofer, along with his Welsh mate Ed Butler, performing at trade shows all over the world, so he’s a busy fella to say the least!

However, on May 27^th 2023 he had the biggest day of his life when he and Kirsty who works for the NHS, tied the knot during a wonderful ceremony surrounded by friends and family in Scotland.

Steve and Kirsty wanted to do something different, and to be honest it came as no surprise to me that Steve had drafted in one of his colleagues from WM Donald Ltd with his Volvo EWR150E wheeled excavator, with a Steelwrist tiltrotator, to star in the photos, I think you will agree the images are fantastic and I would like to say thanks to the contributors on Steve’s Facebook page for them. The image of Kirsty trying to pull Steve away from his beloved tiltrotator is a stroke of genius and must have caused a lot of laughter on the day! 

It goes without saying, we wish Steve and Kirsty all the very best for their future together as Mr & Mrs Williamson.
