Wille Launches New Delta Model

Something a bit different to kick of the week here on the Digger Man Blog, with news of a new product from Finnish compact equipment manufacturer Wille.

Wille Launches New Delta Model

Last week, Wille, who are based in Loimaa, Finland, chose the Elmia Park trade fair in Jönköping, Sweden, to officially launch the brand new 275 Delta ground maintenance machine, the very first Wille model to feature the Wille Smart Link fleet tracking service as standard. The 275 Delta has undergone a complete change in shape and design technology compared to the outgoing 275 model.

Thanks to the low frame structure, the 275 Delta fits in tight spaces and is agile in work use. The new frame design also enables the use of larger work equipment. With its low centre of gravity, the machine behaves stably even on inclined surfaces, so that, for example, grass cutting on gentle slopes can be done without any problems. Short front and rear overhangs make working with the machine easy and effortless.

The slightly longer wheelbase compared to the previous 275 model makes the new 275 Delta more stable when moving, and the machine's top speed is higher than the previous model.

The Wille 275 Delta's 50kw (60hp) engine guarantees exceptional performance in the machine's size class. The maximum hydraulic flow is 110 litres, which allows the machine to use a comprehensive range of work equipment. Compared to its predecessor, the 275 Delta can be fitted with larger work equipment both behind the machine and above the engine compartment.

The hydraulic mechanical PTO available as an option also enables the use of work equipment that requires mechanical power output in front of the machine. The customer can also use the old work equipment required by the PTO in the new Wille 275 Delta.

The cabin has been completely redesigned with user ergonomics in mind and is very spacious for its size class. The cockpit is naturally equipped with air conditioning, and other amenities familiar to Willie customers. The user interface of the Wille 275 Delta has also been completely renewed. Monitoring and controlling the machine's functions via the screen has been improved.

The Wille 275 Delta of course includes all the features familiar to delta series users, such as cover parts designed according to the customer's brand, and the armrest roller controller familiar from the largest machines, which controls the machine's user interface and functions. The Wille 275 Delta can also be registered as a tractor, just like all Delta series models.

Wille smarter than before

The 275 Delta is the first Wille model with the Wille Smart Link fleet tracking service as standard. Through its browser-based user interface, monitoring the status of the machine as well as planning and forecasting work can be done effortlessly. Wille Smart Link enables both real-time and historical data monitoring of the fleet. Through the user interface, users have access to the same information that the machine operator has at his or her disposal.

Wille Smart Link can also be connected to the customer's own information system, in which case the customer receives more data from the machine than with retrofit tracking devices. Thanks to more comprehensive data, a much better picture of the working, efficiency, state and condition of the machines is obtained.

With the amount of information provided by Wille Smart Link, evaluation and forecasting of work, maintenance breaks and consumption is effortless. Consequently, the fleet tracking service makes operations more efficient, which lowers consumption and enables the maximization of fleet utilization. Wille Smart Link also makes it possible to prevent incorrect or harmful use of the machine.

The Wille Smart Link system will be installed in all Willes from the beginning of 2024. Deliveries of the Wille 275 Delta will begin in 2024.
