Williams Auction Looms on the Horizon

The first “Williams Auctions” unreserved auction is now just two weeks away and promises to be a great event. The Williams team promise a return to auctions how they used to be, with a live auctioneer, moving from lot to lot, performing a live public auction on each piece of kit, with all the buzz and atmosphere that they generate.

Williams Auction Looms on the Horizon

Some weeks ago, I went along to check out the brand-new purpose-built facility in Ollerton, Knutsford, in Cheshire to take a look at some of the equipment that was gathering there ahead of the auction on 22nd April.

Dominating the assembled mini excavators were a large number of Hitachi machines which includes no less than seven Zaxis 26U models which were in immaculate condition.

In equal measure, there was a massive ensemble of John Deere tractors, once again in fantastic condition and low-houred.

There’s also a wide variety of site dumpers up for grabs at the auction, ranging 1-tonne Hi-Tip models up to 9 and 10 tonne forward tipping models, from the likes of Thwaites, JCB and Terex.

A whole raft of low houred Hydrema 912F low ground pressure 12-tonne articulated dumptrucks are available, ex Ashbrook Plant so well serviced and maintained units.

Also coming into the auction from Ashbrook Plant are a number of Caterpillar 308E2 CR compact radius 8-tonne class midi excavators.

Viewing of the machines takes place from the 19th April, in the run up to the main auction on the 22nd. Find out more by visiting the Williams Auctions website here in this link.
