You cannot be serious!

Every now and again I come across plant and machinery related photos that simply take my breath away or get me thinking is this happening for real! Well here are another triple combination for your enjoyment.

In this first shot we see a Volvo EC240BLC cutting batters high up on a bench in a massive mine somewhere in the world. It looks like there would be very little margin for error on this job and not much room for the back end on this conventional tail swing machine. I have to be honest, this would not be a job for the faint hearted! The second shot really took me by surprise, once again I sadly have no genuine information on what is going on here, but at first glance it looks like the Hidromek is trying to track onto the back of a Mark 2 Transit pick up! But on closer inspection it appears that the operator is actually filling up with diesel from a drum on the back of the pick-up. Let’s hope that bank to the rear of the machine never gave way! In this last shot we see a Komatsu PC600-6 which is clearly having a few issues, having become separated from its undercarriage at the slew ring! The operator is clearly on the phone explaining the problem, “Well it’s like this boss, it’s just fell off”.
