Turkish manufacturer Hidromek continue to roll out some of the most stylish looking and quality construction machinery products and once again at Bauma, they had plenty to show us.

Hidromek display more Turkish Delights at Bauma 2019
As an excavator fan, the favourite machine to see for me was the new HMK 145 LC SR, a 14-tonne class short radius hydraulic excavator which like the company’s larger models also features its operator friendly Opera Control System.  A tilting cabin provides quick access to hydraulic equipment which enables easier replacement of components if needed. Soil compactors are a relatively new addition to the Hidromek range having previously been shown as concept models. The exciting manufacturer is rapidly heading to become a “one stop shop” for construction plant and machinery, with kit in the line up ranging from mini compact backhoe loaders up to motor graders and all things in between. This HMK 110 CS was on display and as you can see offers excellent visibility from the cab thanks to the sloping body and large windows all around. A large 8” touchscreen monitor is fitted for ease of using functions such as the air-conditioning and multimedia such as radio and Bluetooth phone connection. Of course, one of Hidromek’s core products over the years has been the backhoe loader and once again some of these products were represented on the stand in this example the HMK 102S Supra. Bauma was also the debut venue for Hidromek’s second wheeled loader, the HMK635 WL, which joins the HMK 640 WL in the range. According to Hidromek, this Mercedes powered loader stands out with its high breakout force, dump clearance and traction. With seat heating, reversing camera, touch screen monitor, electrically controlled and heated mirrors, the HMK 635 WL offers a complete package to owners and operators alike. Hidromek also displayed a prototype highly mobile electric excavator the HMK 70 W or the HICON. I will be reporting further on this in a future edition of Earthmovers Magazine. You can see the machine in the following walk-around video from the stand.
