A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic workshop coordinator to join our team in Ingleton, North Yorkshire.

As a successful applicant you will have sufficient experience and skills to quickly add value to this busy and dynamic team. Your role will include the co-ordination of the fabrication and warehousing side of the business. This workshop-based role will include but not be limited to;

  • Coordinating all workshop activities and the successful fulfilment of customer orders
  • Responsible and accountable for the welding and fabrication works carried out on and off site
  • Responsible for quality control
  • Liaising with the leadership team to maintain schedules, quality and safety KPI’s
  • Daily planning of workshop workflow
  • Delegation and allocation of workshop activities
  • Monitor health and safety compliance
  • Materials, consumables and equipment managing
  • Monitoring and reporting of workshop costings and expenses

The successful applicant will:

  • have welding/fabrication competence and experience
  • be a good communicator with the rest of the team
  • have fantastic attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have a strong health and safety ethic
  • Be flexible to the needs of the business
  • Have previous experience of workflow planning/workshop operation ideally with supervisory experience
  • Be an enthusiastic team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Be a driven, self-motivated person who is able to plan, prioritise and manage their workload

Forklift license desirable
