65 Years with Cat for Keith Bullock Contracting
While trawling the web over the weekend I cam across this video produced by New Zealand based Caterpillar dealer Terra Cat that features Greater Wellington based Keith Bullock Contracting who have been in the earthmoving business for over 65 years
It was 1960, when the founder of this family business purchased his first Caterpillar machine, which was a Cat D4 7U track-type tractor, that bulldozer was the catalyst for what the company has become today.

It holds such a special place in the hearts of the Bullock family, that the D4, which has amassed over 30,000 hours on the meter, has since been painstakingly restored to its former glory, and now takes pride of place at their yard in Porirua.
The projects they undertake these days are much larger, and so is the Caterpillar equipment that they purchase, but their commitment to the Caterpillar brand remains the same as it was 65 years ago.

The business was carried forward by Keith and Betty’s son Glenn and wife Linda, before their sons Mark and Dean took the reins, and it’s clear to see that Cat machines have remained a constant for Bullocks.
Such an inspirational story, enjoy the video below!
